We bid a fond farewell to 2024 and with every ending there is a new beginning as we step into 2025, a time to embrace change and new opportunities.
We’re already fully engaged in planning a calendar of events for 2025 but firstly we’d like to take this opportunity to reflect upon some of the highlights achieved during a very busy 2024 . . . our heartfelt thanks as ever to our regular and corporate volunteers for their hard work and enthusiasm . . .


We created an orchard showcasing an abundance of fruit trees, a riot of colourful plants and an impressive bug hotel of palatial proportions!

The Sow, Grow, Eat…Repeat workshop was launched, a fun and educational opportunity to learn how to grow, harvest and cook your own fruit & veg. Our thanks to NHS Frimley Innovation Fund. This initiative was highly reviewed and we will be offering similar courses again this year.

We took part in the Gather & Grow community project where we offered a container gardening workshop to enthusiastic children & adults.

Our Corporate Volunteering opportunities are growing ever more popular with fantastic support from a variety of companies including Centrica, MCS, TravelPort.

We were thrilled to show at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival in July. Our Tea Garden Allotment was so well received with rave reviews by visitors and exhibitors alike and to our absolute delight, the garden was featured on Gardeners’ World!

We were chuffed to be asked to judge the imaginative pumpkin and funny veg entries at The Maidenhead Town Show – we applaud the creative talent in the borough!

As ever, our popular Christmas wreath workshop proved to be a festive treat for all and a lovely way to end our activities for the year
