Nature's Haven welcomes Sir Ed Davey & Josh Reynolds MP . . .
Taking a break from his busy schedule during a visit to Maidenhead, Sir Ed enjoyed the calm and reflective space to discuss our mission to enable our community to access and learn about the healing and therapeutic benefits of gardening and nature. He was particularly keen on our volunteer opportunities as they provide invaluable experiences that can help to strengthen a sense of purpose, belonging, and connection. Volunteering enables one to not only learn new skills, meet new people, gain confidence, improve mental and physical well-being, foster a 'service to others' attitude but also gives one a sense of pride and identity.
Why not join our wonderful group of volunteers? Whether you're a complete beginner or a keen seasoned gardener, or simply want to meet new people in a friendly environment and partake in a variety of events & workshops, we'd love to meet you.
This Saturday, 9th November, we plan to plant over 1,000 Spring bulbs, if you fancy getting involved please join us at 10 am at The Maidenhead Community Centre.
Otherwise . . . we meet on Thursdays 3 pm-5 pm and Saturdays 10 am-12 pm.
Fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
Free car parking and bike racks.
